Delete your Glammies Hub account
1. How to delete your account
In the Glammies Hub app
- Open the Glammies Hub app and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice. You are signed out, and the account is closed straight away.
By email
If you cannot use the app, email support@glammieshub.com with the subject Delete my account, from the email address on the account (or include the phone number you signed up with). We confirm it is your account before deleting it, and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
2. If you run a business on Glammies Hub
A business has clients booked in and money held for it, so it cannot simply disappear. Before your account can be deleted:
- cancel or complete any appointments still to come, and
- withdraw everything in your wallet.
The app tells you which of these is left. Once both are done, deleting your account closes your business too, and it comes off Glammies Hub. To close only the business and keep your account, use Settings → Account → Close my business instead.
3. What happens straight away
- Your sign-in details are deleted: the email address, phone number and password you sign in with. Nobody can sign in to the account again, and your email and phone become free to use for a new account.
- Appointments still to come are cancelled, with whatever you paid refunded under the business's terms. The business is told the slot is free.
- A business you run is closed and taken off Glammies Hub, so clients can no longer find or book it.
- Notifications to your phone stop.
- You are signed out, and the account is marked closed.
Your remaining profile details (your name, contact details and profile photo) stay with the closed account. To have those removed as well, email support@glammieshub.com and we will delete everything we are not required to keep, within 30 days.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Some records are not ours to erase, because other people and the law rely on them:
- Payment, refund and payout records: kept for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than an account lasts. They are the platform's books and cannot be edited or removed.
- Past appointments: the record of what was agreed and paid, which the business you visited is owed and which disputes and refunds depend on. Kept for the same period as the payment records.
- Reviews you published: kept while the business's page exists, because other clients rely on its rating.
- A note that the account was closed, so our support team can tell a closed account from a quiet one.
